phpDomain Features

phpDomain is a php-based OpenSRS system offering advanced front end functionality, comprehensive payment gateway support and ease of installation, configuration, administration and use not found in the base OpenSRS client.

The difference between the basic and pro versions is the support for billing gateways, bulk multi-domain register and transfer functions, as well as availability of update and support licenses.  We strongly recommend the professional version for any commercial establishment using the software.

The professional version can be purchased at the special price of $49.95 for a limited time. Please see the licensing page for professional licensing details. We also offer a range of modification services.  The basic software is provided under the LGPL license.

• Powerful admin interface [demo]
  All of the aspects of the software are configurable using an intuitive password-protected admin interface.  No need to mess with any files, everything is installable and configurable through the web.
• Full tracking of orders
  All order information is saved within the mySQL database and is accessible through the admin web interface.  You can easily reuse the information for contacting your customers or for linking with other applications.
• Open source product
  We have very strict specifications in place for quality control over the code.  All of the software is very easy to modify, well commented object-oriented code is available so anyone can modify the product to their needs.  We can also install and customize the software to your needs for a reasonable fee.
• Completely customizable design
  The entire product is based on templates and is very easy to customize to fit within the design of your website.  Header, footer, site name, link format, and literally any other features can be easily changed.

• Suggest a domain and fast whois
  If a user is looking for a domain thats not available, phpDomain will both show them the same domain name that is available under other extensions (ie .net, etc) and suggest other similar domain names that are available.  The whois interface checks with local nameserver before connecting to OpenSRS server, thus providing much faster response time.

• Bulk whois, transfer and registration  (PRO VERSION REQUIRED)
  Ability to register or transfer multiple domains and TLD's on the same form.  User is also able to transfer multiple domains across profiles (changing ownership of hundreds of domains at once).
• Intuitive user interface
  Easy-to-use, clean, user-friendly interface for both the admin as well as the user, providing comprehensive error messages on the same page as where the error occurs. 
• Supported TLDs include: .net, .org, .com, .co.uk, .org.uk, .cc, .ca, .us, .info, .biz and .name.
